WEDC now offers JEDEC standard DDR2 VLP RDIMM‘s with a height of
only .72 inches (18.29mm). The new 512MB, 1GB, and 2GB modules
allow for a vertical socket placement in blade based or other low height
environments. This solution reduces the mother board space
required per DIMM, while also improving the airflow
through the memory section of the system.
